reach the Tata motors Factory at Pimpri. welcomed with flowers and cameras!! Shown a 16 mnt video on corporate social responsibility. Taken on a tour of the factory in lovely Tata cars, wearing the Tata caps.
we get to see the training area, The assembly line of Tata cars, public utility vehicles, lmv, hmv.
saw them make the doors, axle, pneumatic machines making other body parts
Magic was most impressive. new public transport vehicle
Winger- the van for 10-12 seater
and chota haathi-small truck
huge factory. something i hve seen for the first time. clean, huge infrastructure. smooth functioning. happy workers. busy workshop. shining place. happening.
they have their own crash test building. only one in india

followed by lunch at the guest house by the lake. very scenic. again lovely lunch and great hospitality. maharashtrian fare-puranpoli, bhakri, baingan, dal, masala bhat, raita,bhendi.
